How to Jump in Kiteboarding
Most of the information you will read about steps on how to jump in kiteboarding is pretty similar.
Essentially you need to learn how to load and pop on your board with the proper timing and it really just comes from some practice with the feel of where your kite should be.
I was going to write out in detail the steps and tips to kiteboard jumping but I found the excellent free tutorial video below and I realized it was much easier to tell readers to just watch that video below multiple times with the visuals to grasp the concepts easier.
Most beginners when first jumping make the mistake of improperly loading their board for pop and cranking the kite too fast preventing any hangtime. It really just takes practice and reviewing the tips on the video below. So just go practice and you will soon figure out how easy jumping is with a kite.
