This site was put together to help people who are looking to get into the exciting sport of kiteboarding, but don't really know where to start. The sport is growing rapidly and the industry has worked hard to increase education about kiting safety, so that we can preserve the use of kiting locations.
Kiting is an amazing sport but the learning curve is steep, so proper kiting knowledge/training is essential as kiting can be very dangerous when you don't know what you are doing.
The power and efficiency of modern kites is amazing and allows people almost limitless possibilities for tricks and styles that other sports can't offer. The sport has grown into many riding styles and extensions like landboarding and snowkiting. There really isn't any other feeling then using mother nature to propel you through the water or snow.
If you read noting else in this website, then we must stress how important getting professional lessons is when starting out in kiteboarding. Kiting can be scary if you don't know what you are doing and you can hurt not only yourself but others around you without proper kite control, so the best advice for beginners is find a certified kiting instructor and just take a lesson. You won't regret it.
